Crown Commercial Service

RM6098 – Lot 8

The Crown Commercial Service is the biggest public procurement organisation in the UK. We have a place on the Lot 8: Technology Catalogue Framework which offers public sector buyers a quick and easy way to source their technology Products and Associated Services. This agreement is an online catalogue which is ideal for low value and low complexity requirements.

All UK public sector organisations can access technology hardware, software and services including end user devices, servers, storage, infrastructure devices, software licences and accessories.

The supplies RM6098 covers are:

  • End user devices such as laptops, desktops, mobiles, and tablets

  • Device as a service (for example, outsourcing hardware and device management)

  • Consumables such as cabling, connectors, data storage and memory sticks

  • Commercial off the shelf (COTS) software which is commercially ready-made and available for sale, ‘as a service’, lease, or licence and is generally sourced from resellers (for example, Microsoft, VMware, Google, Oracle, ServiceNow, antivirus software and adobe)

  • IT management software

  • Data and analytics software

Crescent Purchasing Consortium Framework

Lots 1 and 5

CPC are a purchasing consortium, owned and run by the FE sector. They provide their members with specialist advice on best spending practices and how to obtain best value for money.

In 2020 we were awarded places on lots 1 and 5 of the ICT Hardware and Peripherals Equipment. These are the Desktop PC Solutions and Multi-Purpose Lots.

Multi-Purpose Lot:

This Lot is for the provision of goods and service including but not limited to supply and supply and installation of:

  • Desktop computers (tower, small form micro and all in one)

  • Monitors and key boards

  • Thin clients

  • High performance and gaming desktops

  • Printers and scanners

  • Virtual reality equipment

  • Laptops, notebooks, tablets and netbooks including chromebooks

  • Pda’s

  • Mobile internet devices (excluding mobile phones)

  • Charging carts, docking stations, storage trolleys and other related products

  • Headphones and earphones

  • External hard drives, memory upgrades

  • Cables, components, and accessories including locks and brackets

  • Carry cases, speakers, memory sticks, telephone handsets (not complete systems) and other related products

Desktop PC Solutions Lot:

This Lot is for the provision of goods and services including but not limited to supply, and supply and installation of:

  • Desktop computers (tower, small form micro and all in one)

  • Monitors, keyboards, and mice, including both wired and wireless

  • Thin clients

  • High performance and gaming desktops

  • Refurbished equipment and remanufactured equipment

  • Bespoke equipment

  • New technologies providing a desktop solution

  • Accessories and cables

  • Imaging services, maintenance services

  • Other relevant services including asset tagging and training & support for all solutions.

YPO

Lot 1, Lot 2 and Lot 3

YPO supplies products and services to a wide range of customers including public sector organisations including, Local Authorities, Education, Housing, Charities, Central Government, Emergency Service and NHS Establishments. Our commitment to sustainability and responsible practices is evident through ACS being awarded a position on the Supply of Sustainable Hardware, Asset Recycling and Data Destruction Framework.

This framework is for the provision of, Sustainable Hardware, Asset Recycling & Data Destruction, inclusive of products and services which will provide both refurbished and new hardware as well as a complete ICT equipment solution and allow for secure decommissioning of ICT electrical equipment, including but not limited to the sanitising of data and shredding media.

The 3 lots consist of:

  • Lot 1 - Supply of Sustainable Hardware

  • Lot 2 - Supply of New Hardware

  • Lot 3 - IT Asset Recycling and Destruction

Although it was originally created for Education, it can be used by any Public Sector organisation. It has become popular with areas such as Health because of the ease of use, the wide range of trusted suppliers, and compliance with procurement regulations.
